Whole-home water softeners & filtration

Treat your water once, where it enters your home.

A whole-home system cleans and softens water at the main line, so every faucet, shower, ice maker and appliance gets the same treated water. It’s the real fix for hard water scale, chlorine taste, and dry skin and hair.

What a whole-home system fixes

Many Southwest Florida homes deal with hard water, and city water is treated with chlorine. Homes on wells often add iron and sulfur to the list. A whole-home system handles it at the source.

Scale on faucets and glass

White crust on fixtures and spots on dishes and shower doors come from hard water minerals.

Water heater and appliance wear

The same scale builds up inside water heaters, dishwashers and pipes, shortening their lives.

Chlorine taste and smell

City water is treated with chlorine. It's safe, but you can taste it, smell it and feel it.

Dry skin and dull hair

Soap doesn't rinse well in hard water. Most people notice softer skin and hair within a week or two.

Our whole-home systems

Five systems, each built for a different home. Tell us about your water and household, and we’ll recommend the one that fits, usually right over the phone.
Most popular

Whole-Home Softener + Filtration

Softening and chlorine filtration in a single tank.
Softening resin removes hardness minerals, and a layer of coconut-shell carbon takes out chlorine. One tank, one control valve, and a brine tank for salt. This is where most homes start.
Best for: Most homes on city water
More capacity

XL Softener + Filtration

The same system with more capacity.
The same setup with more softening capacity, so it regenerates less often. Choose it for bigger households, higher water use or especially hard water.
Best for: Larger homes, bigger families or harder water
Two tanks

Dual Tank System

Separate softening and carbon tanks.
One tank softens and a second, dedicated carbon tank removes chlorine and cleans itself by backwashing. Giving each its own tank means more capacity and better performance at high water use.
Best for: Large homes, heavy water use or heavily chlorinated water
For private wells

Well Water System

Made for iron, sulfur and rotten-egg smell.
Well water has different problems than city water. This system pairs a softening tank with a Katalox Light tank that removes iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide, the causes of orange stains, metallic taste and sulfur smell.
Best for: Homes on a private well
No salt

Salt-Free Conditioner

Scale protection without salt or a drain.
A conditioner changes hardness minerals so they don’t stick to pipes, fixtures and your water heater. No salt, no brine tank and no drain line. To be upfront: it prevents scale but doesn’t remove hardness, so you won’t get the slippery soft-water feel.
Best for: Salt-free households or homes without drain access

Why it's worth it

Protects your biggest investments

Water heaters, washing machines, dishwashers and plumbing all last longer without scale building up inside them.

Feels better every day

Soap lathers and rinses clean, so skin feels less dry and hair feels softer. It's usually the first thing people notice.

Less cleaning

No more scrubbing white crust off faucets or spots off glasses and shower doors.

Common questions

Give us a call and tell us what you’re noticing, whether you’re on city water or a well, and how many people live in your home. We’ll recommend the system that fits, usually right over the phone. If it’s helpful, we can test your water too.

A softener on its own doesn’t. Our Whole-Home Softener + Filtration, XL and Dual Tank systems include carbon filtration, so they handle hardness and chlorine together.

It depends on your water hardness and how much water you use. We’ll tell you what to expect for your home, and refilling is as simple as pouring a bag into the brine tank.

No. Softened water picks up a small amount of sodium, but it doesn’t taste salty. If you’re watching sodium closely, pair your system with a reverse osmosis drinking water system, or choose the salt-free conditioner.

A softener removes hardness minerals from your water. A conditioner leaves them in but stops them from sticking and forming scale. Both protect your plumbing; only a softener gives you true soft water.
